Creative Arts Programs
TASK’S creative arts programs help patrons improve communication skills and meet emotional needs, such as desires for self-expression and community. Patrons who take part are more comfortable interacting with others, asking for help, and seeking training and employment. And they’re more likely to tell others about the benefits of TASK.
The Visual Arts participants work in a wide variety of media, including paint, pencil, ink, pastel, collage, sculpting and found object construction to express their unique points of view. The SHARE Creative Writing and Performance Arts group comes together to write and share their poetry, plays, short stories and more. TASK’s musical group, The FunkTASKtiks, plays at TASK and around the Trenton area, coming together to jam, perform their own creations and cover the hits!
