How a Community Fights Hunger
Our Impact
Because of the efforts of our donors, volunteers, team and community, TASK has served more than 7 million meals since our founding in 1982. During the pandemic, we doubled our efforts by expanding our kitchen and forming partnerships with local restaurants. We’ve developed innovative programs to improve quality of life and reduce food insecurity long term among our patrons.

TASK distributed 63,944 brown bag meals to the community, including 48,264 PB&J sandwiches made by volunteers.
Donated groceries and rescued food were distributed to our neighbors in need.
