Over the fiscal year ending July 2023, TASK prepared and served nearly half a million meals to feed our community. And we reached a new milestone: 6.5 million meals served since our founding in 1982.

Our primary focus remains the City of Trenton, where residents count among the highest concentrated poverty rate in the State and where three-quarters of Mercer County’s homeless population can be found.

Roughly one-third of TASK meals were served at our Escher Street dining room, including a fresh salad bar, soup and more.

The rest of our meals were distributed to 35 community meal sites across the area, including senior housing, after-school programs, partner nonprofits, community centers and religious organizations.
