A Meaningful Moment: TASK Arts Program Featured on PBS

arts 1
Artists gather at TASK to express their creativity.

TASK’s creative arts program was featured in the most recent episode of State of the Arts NJ on PBS. The story celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Trenton Community A-Team (TCAT), a nonprofit partner that serves as an extension of our creative arts program.

For more than two decades, the creative arts program at TASK has been a connection point for people, enriching lives through visual, written and performing arts. Soon after, TCAT was formed as both an artist alliance and a means for TASK artists to market and sell their artwork.

Every Tuesday, TASK partners with TCAT to provide space and materials for individuals to connect and create. These weekly sessions serve as a vital outlet for self-expression and an opportunity for artists of all experience levels to develop their skills. As TASK Creative Arts Specialist Frank Lettieri Jr. says in the piece, “Art is so deeply ingrained in what it means to be human.”

Here’s to celebrating 25 years of partnership, art and creativity in all forms!
