TASK serves delicious, nutritious meals to everyone who comes through its doors, no questions asked. We are the only soup kitchen in the Trenton area open 6 days a week, including most holidays.
A meal at TASK is often the first step on the road to leaving hunger behind. It’s how patrons discover a community of friendship and support. It’s the entry point to take advantage of all TASK has to offer.
For hungry families and individuals who can’t make it to our main location, we provide hot meals to more than 40 community meal sites and we also operate a mobile soup kitchen. We serve throughout the city of Trenton as well as places where hunger is more hidden, including Princeton, Lawrenceville, East Windsor, Hightstown and Morrisville in Bucks County, PA. Distributing food through community meal sites is just one example of how TASK partners with religious organizations, schools, community centers and other nonprofits to provide more than 10,000 meals a week and improve the quality of life of those we serve.
Partnerships & Collaboration
TASK partners with religious organizations, schools, community centers, nonprofits and businesses to provide a wide network of support. During the pandemic, these partnerships allowed us to nearly double our meal service production and help us continue to provide more than 10,000 meals a week. For Case Management, we work with community partners to connect our patrons with resources such as identification, housing, clothing, medical care, veterans’ services and more.
