TASK Helps Patron Publish Third Book
TASK writer, Deb Kisela, has released her newest book, a collection of poetry entitled Short Poems of My Own.
Kisela, who also participates in TASK’s visual arts program, has written nearly 100 poems during her lifetime.
“I’ve been writing poetry since I was 12 years old. It was my escape. I write poetry and I do artwork. It brings me into another world,” says Kisela, reflecting on the therapeutic value that the arts program provides.
This is the third book that Kisela has published with TASK’s help.
