Wrapping the Season in Joy at TASK
Gift giveaway events bring holiday cheer to folks of all ages

For some, the holidays can be a challenging time, and with the help of generous donors, TASK is pleased to be able to share more holiday joy through a series of special events.
Adult Holiday Shop: The annual holiday giveaway for adults provided winter essentials such as hoodies, gloves, hats, socks and blankets to hundreds of our neighbors in need. Thanks to our long-time partner, Thompson Memorial Presbyterian Church and numerous donors, we were able to offer these important items to help our community members face the cold winter months ahead with warmth and style.
Children’s Toy Shop: Our children’s holiday shop provided caregivers with an opportunity to find gifts for children of all ages, from infants to teens, at no cost to them. Whether “shopping” alone for a surprise or together as a family, our holiday toy shop ensured that every child has something special to unwrap this holiday season.
“TASK is truly privileged to be able to provide this kind of support to the community at the holidays. For so many of the people we serve, TASK is a part of their family and this may be the only present they receive this season,” says TASK Director of Radical Hospitality Jaime Parker. “At this time of year, when the ground is cold and the sun sets early, TASK is able to provide warmth, in so many ways.”
These opportunities have been made possible by the generous donations of individuals and local businesses like Gnome Architects, bxp, inc’s Carnegie Center, Trane Technologies and more. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making the holidays special for the TASK community!
