Our Impact

Because of the efforts of our donors, volunteers, team and community, TASK has served more than 7 million meals since our founding in 1982. During the pandemic, we doubled our efforts by expanding our kitchen and forming partnerships with local restaurants. We’ve developed innovative programs to improve quality of life and reduce food insecurity long term among our patrons.

Mobile meals provide critical lifeline for thousands of neighbors in need
More meals, more places. That was the goal we set for ourselves on March 18, 2024 – the day we put the TASK food truck on the road for the first time. Since then, the truck has become a staple throughout Trenton, bringing TASK's signature hot meals directly into neighborhoods across the Capital City that need them most.
