Memorial & Tribute Gifts
Tribute gifts are a meaningful way to honor or remember family, friends and colleagues, or to celebrate special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, Bat Mitzvah/Bat Mitzvahs, weddings and holidays.
After making the donation, TASK will prepare an acknowledgment and deliver it either to you and/or to the recipient you request.
To make a tribute gift you can:
- Donate online
- Download TASK’s Tribute Form and mail your donation.
If submitting online, please include the honoree’s name and address in the “Tribute Section” and include a brief message in the “Additional Comments” section. This will help us ensure your gift is delivered properly.

Workplace Giving
Matching Gifts
You can double or triple your gift – easily! Check with your Human Resources Department to find out if your employer offers a corporate matching gift program and how you can participate. We will recognize corporations that match gifts in our Annual Report, and donors will receive recognition for their total contribution.
Payroll Deduction
By enrolling in your company’s payroll deduction program, you can easily direct a part of your paycheck to TASK. Check with your Human Resources Department to find out if your employer offers charitable payroll deduction and how you can participate.
Host a Donation Drive

Planned Giving
Create your own legacy by joining a special group of individuals who have made TASK a part of their estate plans. Planned gifts enable you to make a lasting impact while also meeting your financial planning needs and objectives. You can:
- Incorporate a bequest to TASK into your will;
- Name TASK as a beneficiary under your life insurance policy or retirement plan; or
- Establish a charitable trust or life income gift benefiting TASK.

Donate Supplies
From shelf-stable food to hygiene products, TASK is always in need of supplies to help our patrons. Download our list or see below to find out what TASK always needs and what is needed seasonally. You can also help by participating in a service project, such as creating weekend meal bags or organizing donation drives.
If you do not see an item that you want to donate, please call (609) 695-5456 x114 before making the trip to drop it off!
How to Donate
TASK accepts donations Monday – Thursday from 8:30 am – 3:30 pm and Fridays from 8:30 am – 1:30 pm.
You do not need an appointment to drop off a donation.
TASK is located at 72 ½ Escher Street, Trenton, NJ 08609.
We share a driveway with the Trenton Animal Shelter. At the end of the driveway are double doors. Ring the bell and someone will come to help you. Please do not leave items at TASK when no one is here.

Service Projects
For volunteers of all ages who can’t regularly come to TASK, you can make a big difference right from your house, school, office, or place of worship. Make meal bags. Donate and wrap utensils. Assemble first aid kits. See below or download our Service Projects List for more details and ideas.
Donor Privacy Policy
TASK is strongly committed to maintaining the privacy rights of our donors and supporters. Consistent with that commitment, we hereby guarantee that we will not sell or trade donors’ personal or contact information with anyone else, nor will we send mailings on behalf of other organizations to our donors.
Information Collected
Here are the types of donor information that TASK collects and maintains: contact information; name; organization; address; phone number; email address; information you wish to share such as questions, comments and suggestions, and requests to receive periodic updates.
How Information Is Used
TASK uses your information to understand your needs and provide you with better service. Specifically, we use your information to communicate back to you and update you on our work. Credit card numbers are used only for donation or payment processing and not for any other purpose. We use the comments you offer to provide you with information you request, and we take seriously each recommendation as to how we might improve communication and help our patrons. We never share personal information and we will never sell, rent or lease your personal information to other organizations. We assure you that the identity of all our donors will be kept confidential. Use of donor information will be limited to the internal purposes of TASK and only to further the activities and purposes of TASK.
