TASK to honor longtime partner and Cornerstone Community Kitchen founder at our annual BBQ on September 13, 2024

The exhibition, entitled “Philotechnic Transformation,” will be displayed in the Education Gallery from June 29 through August 25, 2024

For the past eight years, it has been the highest privilege to be in the driver’s seat here at TASK. Now, it is my turn to hand the wheel over to someone new. I have made the decision to retire at the end of 2024.

Campbell has led the organization for the past eight years, a period marked by unprecedented growth in the need for TASK’s services.

Today, TASK offers the only culinary academy program of its kind in Mercer County. TASK offers students wraparound support, including workforce training and case management, to bolster their chance of success once they graduate from the program.

TASK is proud to announce that its short film, A Meal Can Change a Life, recently won honorable mention at the Trenton Film Society’s Regional Documentary Festival.

TASK’s Radical Hospitality Coordinator, Anita Rivera, who oversees and manages the dining room, and Case Manager Erykah Jones, who helps to connect people in our community to the resources they need, recently graduated from the prestigious Garden State Leaders program.

Founded in 1991 as a literacy program, TASK’s education program has grown to provide a customized approach to address a wide variety of participants’ goals and needs.

Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK) is proud to share that on Monday, March 18, it launched the TASK food truck, a mobile meals program offering free, delicious TASK meals at various stops throughout the Capital City.
